The economy added nearly 49,000 jobs last month, but the unemployment rate rose to 4.3 per cent, as more people looked for work. While in January there was a surge in full-time jobs and a drop in part-time roles, it was the opposite in February. Last month, part-time employment surged by 79,000 while full-time employment fell by 30,000.
