<p>Property has enjoyed a tremendous boom in the last couple of years. According to the ABS, in 2021 residential property prices rose 23.7%.<br><br>But with interest rates now rising, the growth has faltered - and in some parts of the country, prices are now going backwards. How far will they go, and how quickly?<br><br>Sean Aylmer is joined by two eminent guests who disagree over the outlook for the property market: Economist Stephen Koukoulas, Managing Director of Market Economics, and Christopher Joye, Chief Investment Officer at Coolabah Capital, and contributing editor at the AFR.</p>
